The past few months have been a whirlwind of hard work and fun with the opening of our new location in Tanglewood. So, this Mother’s Day I don’t want to do a darn thing! Some years for Mother’s Day, my husband takes Emerson and Sloan out for the day to allow me time for relaxation. A glass of wine and an empty home seems simple but can truly be mentally and physically relaxing. I’m so grateful that I have a family that respects my time and knows that we all need to recharge from time to time. On Monday, its back to packing lunches, taking care of the store, and cleaning up multiple messes. But on Mother’s Day, Sunday is a lovely day of rest.
